The bakery is where the business all began, in 1967 by Bernard Slattery and is now run by his daughter, Ann and son-in-law, Steve. Its premises and some (not all!) machinery are a little different now, however the recipes and amazing produce remain the same.
A traditional bakery, with early morning starts and everything made by hand, it produces fresh bread daily for sale in the shop downstairs and for serving in the dining room.
Alongside the bread they also creates our “famous” sponges that make our celebration and wedding cake, pastries, meringues, shortbreads and much more.
Tuesday to Saturday, 9am-5pm.
Closed Sunday, Monday & Bank Holidays
