Celebration Cakes & Gateaux and Desserts

We do NOT have a delivery service for our celebration cakes and gateaux, they are collection only from our store in Whitefield. When collecting celebration cakes we ask for the person collecting to understand what has been ordered, this means the cake can be checked over and any minor changes or tweaks can be made if it is needed.

Our cakes travel best in the boot of the car and we ask you arrive with this clear for travel. We do not advise cakes travel on seats or on knees, and will not be held responsible for any damage to cakes if they do travel in this way.

We advise Gateaux’s and desserts are collected on the day it will be consumed, as we only use fresh ingredients and no preservatives they do only have a short life.

Wedding Cakes

We can deliver wedding cakes for an additional charge, the charge depends on the distance. For a quote please call us on 0161 767 9303 or ask in store.

Wedding Favours

If a wedding cake has been ordered with ourselves, we can also deliver wedding favours at the same time. If it is solely the favours on order they will need to be collected from our store. We can advise on enquiry the life of the favours and how early they can be collected prior to the wedding day.

Online shop goods

Orders placed before 12 noon, where courier delivery has been selected, are usually dispatched on the same day. This can vary depending on the product selected (if it needs to me made, production timing will affect delivery), our busiest periods such as Easter and Christmas may also affect this. Deliveries are made Monday – Friday (Except Public Holidays). Please note, some couriers may require an extra day to deliver to remote areas such as the Scottish highlands.

Courier times do vary depending on the time of year, it is usually between 9am – 6pm, however this can go up to 8:30pm during peak times such as Christmas. Our courier delivers Monday – Friday. However, on some occasions our carrier will try and deliver Saturdays but this remains in the control of the courier and is not something we can specify.

Orders placed after 12pm FRIDAY, will be sent out TUESDAY for delivery WEDNESDAY at the earliest.

Orders delivered usually require a signature on delivery, however during these current times the courier may instead take a photo as evidence of delivery.

Guaranteed morning delivery or Saturday delivery can be arranged at an extra cost, please call 0161 767 9303 to arrange before placing your order. Delivery by courier is only sent within the UK, delivery to remote locations may not be possible on next day delivery. If you require guaranteed next day, or goods to be shipped outside of the UK please call before placing an order, to see if this is possible.

We do not deliver to PO Box, incomplete or inaccurate addresses. We will attempt delivery to the address and postcode that has been entered by you; we will not accept responsibility for late or failed delivery due to an incorrect address.

Our couriers where possible will text or e-mail in advance with a 2 hour window for delivery.

Out of Stock Items

There may be a delay to deliver goods to you due to the item being currently out of stock, we will offer you a substitute as close to the original product as possible or you can wait for the items to come back into stock. We will get in touch on the contact details provided to inform you of these choices and expected delivery dates.

For hampers: from time to time we may not have all items in stock and we may need to substitute hamper items with items of equal or greater value.

Tracking

You will receive an email from the courier with your tracking details, if you have not received this or have a query over the delivery of your parcel, please get in touch with us on 0161 767 9303.

Gift Vouchers

Our gift vouchers can be collected from the shop, sent first class post or by courier.

The gift vouchers in the gift boxes cannot be sent by first class post.

If first class post if chosen, we are unable to track this once it has left our premises and the delivery is solely down to Royal Mail. All our vouchers are traceable and should one not arrive to its destination it can be cancelled and reissued.

Standard gift vouchers are sent as possible:

Full T&C’s of the gift vouchers are on the back of the gift cards, gift cards are non refundable and hold a 2 year expiry from the date they were purchased.
