1. Do you deliver/post your cakes?
No we don't offer a delivery service on our celebration cakes, we can however arrange for a local taxi firm to delivery your cake at an extra cost.
No we do not "post" celebration cakes.
2. How long does it take to order a cake?
We ask for one week's notice when ordering a celebration cake, which can be done over the phone or by calling into the shop.
We can customise any cake for you, so if there is something you have in mind please ask and we will be able to help.
We ask for 1 week' s notice (occasionally we can produce a cake for you in less time, so it is always worth asking). Skilled cake decorators are rare and valuable crafts people and occasionally we may not have the resources to meet demand. Please order as early as you can to avoid disappointment.
We do not take orders for cakes over the internet or via email, because there are so many variables to consider and discuss with you when placing your order-
We require deposits on our Celebration Cakes, a cake cannot be processed without a deposit having been paid. 30% of the final balance is due on order, the balance is due upon collection of our celebration cakes.
We only accept cash or cards. We no longer accept cheques.-
3. Do you do gluten free cakes?
Yes we can make gluten free cakes-designs similar to our simple made cakes only. Whilst we try our best to ensure all gluten free cakes are gluten free, they are still made in a working bakery that uses gluten. Depending on the severity of the persons allergy, depends if this is suitable and is a choice to be made by yourself.
We ask for one week's notice.
4. What is your cancellation policy on celebration cakes?
There will be no refund on cakes cancelled less than 7 days prior to collection or delivery.
A £10.00 administration fee will always be withheld 24 hours after the order has been placed and paid for in relation to birthday and celebration cakes.
5. Where are you based?
We are based in Whitefield Greater Manchester, M45 6GE (In between Bury and Manchester).
6. How far are you from the Metrolink?
We are approx. 200 yards from the Metrolink station in Whitefield.
7. What times is afternoon tea served from?
Tuesday - Saturday Between 11.30 am-3.30 pm
8. Have you got a lift/disabled access?
Yes we have a ramp into the shop and a lift up to the first floor dining room & school.
We also have a disabled toilet.
We also have 2x blue badge holder parking spaces in our car park
9. What are your opening hours?
Tuesday - Friday: 9.00 am-5.00 pm
Saturday: 9.00 am-5.00 pm
Sunday, Monday & Bank Holidays: Closed
